The Champion Health app from PAM Wellness provides an all-in-one web portal and mobile application that gives users access to a comprehensive range of health and wellbeing resources.
When you set up your account, Champion Health will collect the data you share during registration (such as first name, email, department details, age and explicit consent to their Privacy Policy and Terms of Use).
When you complete a health assessment using the Champion Health App, they will also collect and process the personal health data you share with them, so they can personalise your experience on the platform.
The health data Champion Health collect comprises; lifestyle health related behaviors (nutritional / hydration intake, alcohol consumption, smoking, physical activity, sleep), physical health (Musculoskeletal conditions), Mental Health (stress, anxiety, depression).
All your data is stored securely behind next-generation firewalls in Champion Health’s AWS-hosted servers within AWS data centres located in the London region. All sensitive data are encrypted both in-transit (TLS 1.2 & TLS 1.3) and at-rest (AES256). All Champion Health systems/applications are routinely penetration tested. Champion Health are also ISO27001 certified, an internationally recognised standard for information security management.
Additionally, Champion Health has a dedicated Data Protection Officer (DPO), whose task is to handle data protection matters and individual subjects’ requests and also liaise with our PAM Group DPO when required. Champion Health process your personal data for two purposes:

To provide you with fully confidential access to your personal health report and personalise your journey within the platform. For example, recommending content, tools, features, and resources based on the answers that you give. Only you can access and view your personal health report. Your employer can NOT access or view your personal data.

As an employee, your non-identifiable (anonymised) data will also contribute to an aggregated and anonymised workforce summary health report. This helps your organisation to understand the health of their workforce and better support employee wellbeing. Your individual results will never be identifiable within this workforce summary report. Friends & Family data will not be processed in this way and therefore will not contribute to the information contained within the workforce summary report.
No, employers cannot see any data related to any user. Your employer cannot see individual data answers, nor can they see which individuals are registered on the Champion Health platform. Your employer can only view an aggregated, high-level, fully anonymised summary report, from which you can never be identified. The purpose of this report is to help your organisation provide targeted support and benefits at a company level to improve workplace wellbeing.
When signing up to the platform, you’ll be asked to set a 4-digit pin on top of your regular password. You’ll also have the choice to activate biometric authentication, such as Face ID, which is compatible with your device.

All your data is stored securely within Champion Health’s production platform within Amazon Web Services (AWS) Virtual Private Cloud with data centres located in the London region.
Your Personal Data is retained only for the duration that you have an active account with Champion Health. Your data is securely deleted when:

You contact Champion Health to request an account closure

Your employer discontinues their commercial agreement with Champion Health through their contract with PAM Wellness

Your account has been inactive for more than twelve (12) Months and continues to remain inactive after being notified with 30 days' notice that your account will be deleted.
The quickest way to remove your data is by deleting your account. This can be actioned from “Update Your Profile” within the side menu on mobile and desktop applications.
Following the removal of your account, your personal data will be permanently deleted after 30 days (including data such as name, email, password, content recommendations/ favourites/progress, profile image, and friends and family access).
An anonymised version of your data will remain in the workforce health report. If you would like this to be removed, please contact Champion Health using their Technical Support beacon in the bottom right of your screen and they can investigate this for you.
Please note: If you have a VPN enabled with ad blockers, you might not be able to see Champion Health’s beacon. If this is the case, please email Champion Health at technical@championhealth.co.uk.
